Hi everyone, I'm a new member from the Jersey Shore. I recently purchased a 1973 MGB. It was a lucky find as she seems to be in good shape. This will be my first MGB. My father had a few MGs when I was growing up and I have some fond memories of all the tinkering. I look forward to the journey of restoration and enjoying the ride.

Cheers, Derek

Thanks. Still trying to figure out the color... harvest gold maybe but it's not that dark. Or, maybe Chartreuse or Pale Primrose but both are off year so it's a mystery.

For sure not chartreuse (mine was chartreuse and it is a much more acid yellow - likewise Primrose is yellower.

Harvest Gold could be for sure or possibly snapdragon or bronze yellow - or of course repainted who knows what :D

Nice MGB! You will find our MG forums are pretty active and you will get a lot of help there (and maybe give some). Welcome to BCF!

Thanks for your thoughts. I know it was repainted at some point but not sure on the color. I'll continue to hone in on it.

Welcome from another Joisey owner. Ah, Harvest gold. We had a red 74 that was that color but was repainted VW red. Now on number 6, a 77 Carmine B. Enjoy the car, looks great. Maybe see you at the annual Brit Fest on October 13th in Succasunna (Roxbury) NJ. By the way I believe that an interior color was a shade of blue...enjoy it!
