I've been visiting this website for a long time but just recently became a member. I've owned my 1959 MGA Roadster since high school - 47 years! I paid a guy $50 for her and towed her out of his back yard. The previous owner had brush painted her army green (wheels included) and the cockpit was full of leaves.

I painted her red but learned much later via the serial number that her original color was white. I bought a rebuilt 1500 cc motor from a deceased enthusiast's estate in Indiana.

I still drive her almost every weekend. When I get behind the wheel, hear that motor start, then put her in gear, I'm 18 years old again!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you got more than your $50.00 worth with the MGA.

Post some photos of your car.
