Greetings,

I'm new to this forum and in the process of getting another GT6. I had a '68 in the late eighties that I had to let go and also a '64 spitfire that was my first car back in 1979.

I'm coming off a period of about five years of motorcycle restoration and customizing; specifically cafe and sportbike mods on honda sohc4's from teh early 70's Looking to get back into restoring another GT6. I still have the rebuilt engine from the '68 in storage, I'm hoping to use it as a donor engine for a new project that already has an engine, or, build another six around it.

cheers,

Hymodyne (Hym)

Another Triumph owner...... your building up the ranks
Welcome aboard.... have fun

Welcome Hym!

Always good to have another east-coaster on board.
We have a fair number of members from MD.

I also share your interest in cafe bikes. I own a Honda Ascot thumper with rear-sets and clip ons. I *still* want to cruise to the Ace Cafe.

But my main interest (these days) is Brit-cars and old airplanes.

If you want to see some great bikes and cars, you should come to our New Hamphsire VRG vintage event in the Spring. Great stuff!

~HERE~ is a link to this years '09 event (and check out the videos for some good GT6 action).

And here is ~Another Link~ to our '08 NH event (with more bike shots).

Welcome, Hym.

If you don't get an answer HERE, you won't find it ANYWHERE. :jester:

...and it usually comes in minutes so don't dally with checking back.
