I just happened upon this forum so here I am! An old git Aircraft and guided missile background and for the last thirty five years making aluminium bodies for historic racing cars plus all other associated car things. I have owned quite a lot of MG sprigets, MGB’s MGC’s have made a few Lotus eleven replicas and series one Sevens. I have a Swallow Dorretti , and recently acquired MGA 1600 roadster basket case. All the very best.

Ally - welcome to BCF. Aircraft and missiles - now that's an interesting background for sure, but not likely to make you a git!

Have a friend who was a USAF missileer back in the 1960s. Oh the stories he can tell.

You're a lucky man to have a Swallow Doretti. How 'bout sharing some photos?

Good to have you with us.

Great part of the world. I’m originally from uk and my brother lives in Dorset - Okeford Fitzpain.

Welcome! Last picture I have of a Swallow Dorrietti was from my brother in law. He was at a dealer in PA, the car was just a triumph frame and engine, the only thing recognizable was the manufacturers plate.
