Hi all,

My name is Bill and I live in CT. I've been a huge fan of older british cars for many decades but have finally got to the point in my life where my wants are being addressed :-D

My best friend and I restored a 1960 MGA when I was in high school and I came within about an hour of buying a bugeyed sprite - but the owner sold it right before I brought him the money. C'est la vie!

I'm really in the market for a TR3 (I've been looking for about a year and just haven't pulled the trigger....but I'm ready now).

I look forward to being part of the forum and both contributing and learning from the Masters!

Bill

Welcome, Bill!

Lots of help and camaraderie here. This is the place!

Good luck with your search, and be sure to post pictures of your finds.

:savewave: Welcome. This is the place for those of us who cherish our LBC's (Little British Cars). Best of luck in your search and you might want to touch bases with your local British Car Club for your purchase. Quite often they know of the 'for sale' vehicles and have knowledge as to their history.

Hi Bill, and welcome to the Forum! :savewave:

Thanks to all for the welcome - well, I pulled the proverbial trigger this weekend and bought a '59 TR3A with 33K miles. I'm looking forward to learning everything I can from the forum members and sharing my experiences with my "new" car.

Bill

 Now that's how you do it! Photos please. P.S. I know Moosup, used to live in Stonington and Pawcatuck a long, long, long time ago.

Howdy Bill,

(1st) Congrats on your "New/Old" TR3A with "33Kmi" on her!!!!! Man, We all need to see some pics, Please.

(2nd) I used to travel from PA all thru New England but I just for the life of me never heard of "Mossup, CT". Let me try a guess, Somewhere out towards the "Torrington" area?????

Have Fun with your TR3A & here on the BCF. See you on the Triumph Forum.

Regards, Russ
