I am the former co owner of Abingdon Spares and have had LOTs of MG TC and TD’s as well as many other British cars. I am now in the final stages of the restoration of my 1967 MGB GT. I also just purchased a 1971 TVR Vixen that I will be installing a 289 Ford V8. If anyone out there has done this or has any advice let me know. It seems like it’s been done by many so hopefully I won’t be re inventing the wheel. I almost always like to keep cars original but the engine in the car is toast and I do like the sound of a V8.
