Hello all, I just recently acquired a '59 Bugeye! Initial plan is to find out which parts I have and those I don't and then formulate a course of action. First thoughts are to clean everything up, new paint, refresh the mechanical and electrical systems and then drive it. Not looking to build a show car but want to end up with a fun car for those sunny days! Looking forward to learning lots here and hopefully contributing as well. I've started an album here. https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/album.php?albumid=178https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/album.php?albumid=178https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/album.php?albumid=178https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/album.php?albumid=178

Welcome aboard Spritey! Looks like you've picked up a great project! You have found the right place!

Welcome indeed! (Toronto here) we do have one other Calgarian Bugeye Owner.

Welcome to the BCF Spritey! Nice start to your album - looks like an excellent restoration candidate. Presumably the garage in Calgary is well heated and perhaps you'll be able to make great process before summer.

Good luck and keep us posted.
