Hello all,
I’m a technology fan (the very old and the very new) and own an Austin Ten Lichfield (1935) as well as a brand spanking new EV; but enough of the latter. The Austin’s name is Vera (after Vera Lynne, the WW2 singer, who had an Austin she would drive through the London Blitz to get to and from her concerts). She’s in pretty good shape for a lady her age, though there are some spots here and there that need touching up.
I teach Artificial Intelligence and Game Development at a university in South Wales, but Vera is my motivation to learn more about the internal combustion engine as well as to preserve the legacy of these old dears
Glad to meet you all!
DoctorMike

welcome and what a great juxtaposition - old cars and AI?Game development - we would love to see pics. And a gratuitous picture of Vera Lynn
