I am new at this forum stuff. Have loved British cars since I was five years old, and I bought my first MG at 16. I still remember the fun my friends and I had driving around town with the top down. My husband bought me an Austin Healey 3000 bj8 in 1973 ,and I still own it. My son and I are in the process of completely restoring it and looking forward to rallies and shows. Hopefully by next spring we will have it on the road again.:joyous:

Welcome, Annemarie - great to have you on board.

We've a very active Healey community here, so visit the AH forum and post away!

Hi Anne Marie,
Welcome to our forum. We have a very active and great group of Healey folks here, so you'll fit right in. By the way, when I was an AF Captain I was stationed at Scott AFB in Belleville (We lived up the road in Troy).

Welcome! I am glad to see another LBC woman here! I too have loved these little cars since before I started driving. Had a 66 MGB when I was much younger and always planned on a Healey after the kids tuition and the house was paid off. Don't have that Healey yet but do have a nice MGA and TR4A so life is good.
Please keep us posted on the progress.

Cheers,
Irene
