I have a 1993 xj6 I have replaced the motor after install car ran fine and drove fine for
about 5 miles then began stalling with acceleration and will start but will not
idle without killing engine. Entire fuel system is new as well as ignition coil
plugs etc. I have also dropped exhaust to see if catalytic convertors were bad
and had no improvement I am down to checking stepper motor and possibly throttle positioning sensor or maybe air intake switch pump. Any advice or inside
knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Eric

Friend of mine used to say "A test is worth a thousand theories". What does the fuel pressure do when it stalls?
