My Dad never got around to restoring a 1959 TR3A that he parked in the garage in 1979 (when I was 7). I have finally convinced him to let me have a go at it, and I should have it on a trailer heading to my house sometime this fall.

In the meantime i'm starting to formulate a gameplan, which right now means doing a lot of reading and asking a lot questions. I'm green as grass and welcome any and all input from the BCF members who love these cars. The knowledge displayed in the many previous posts I have read here is inspiring.

Rest assured, there will be photos once this gets underway.

Welcome Gordon, and good luck with the restoration. Remember that Patience is the virtue, as restoring one of these cars is very time consuming. You might pick up a few added words to your vocabulary, but that's normal, your not going insane, most of us have been there! (Grin). Getting serious, information here on this site is most rewarding from those who have been there, some many times. Never be afraid to ask questions, as there's probably hundreds of years of combined experience on this forum and all are willing to help. Keep us posted on your progress. PJ
