101.5 here yesterday. Higher in the city and elsewhere in the country. Stay cool, forget the yard work, it'll be there for another day. PJ

This was the outside temperature as I drove through Oklahoma in July 2003 on my way to Hunstville Al

Basil, you picked a really bad day to visit our lovely state.

I'm sitting in Djibouti right now... It's 108, with a heat index of 118. Doesn't even drop below the low 90's in the middle of the night.

In Reykjavik this weekend - 12 C / 53 F - no records brken here! Yesterday was their naional holiday - lovely! They had a classc car show, when i got the about a dozen cas left and ten at another site. Will post pics if my photobucket starts to work. BTW the Iceland classic car club is the only club in the world that manufactures it's own license plates!

From the aerial shot in the Iceland article not many convertibles. I wonder why! When I was there earlier in the year l didn't see any oldies.
