Its on my 77 and I kept hearing a noise at a certain engine speed and it took forever for me to figure it out. The nut is missing from the crankcase pulley. I wonder how the Previous owner managed to leave that off? Moss wants 17 bucks for it. Anyone got a spare one of these lying around?

Let me look tomorrow Kim.

Sorry, no have.

'77 would be the 1500.

Kim, post over in the Triumph section and ask for the Spitfire part. You will need a honking big socket to install it.

I think the socket is officially something like 1-13/16 but don't quote me.

I saw your post in the Triumph section. The first reply about Hap may pan out but I don't think Hap has worked much on Triumph engines.

I don't have a spare or I'd be happy to give you one. If this board doesn't work out let me know and I'll make some calls.
