It was an all big Healey podium on Saturday afternoons's Vintage Group 1 grid during SOVREN's Columbia River Classic Vintage Races. Fighting through Ferraris, Alfas, Triumphs, Volvos, etc, Doug Escriva 1st ('57 100-6 MM), Dave Phillips 2nd ('57 100-6), and Larry Paterson 3rd ('55 100M) all stood tall after the race which saw the big Healeys sweep the field at Portland International Raceway. The crowd was overjoyed to see the British mark dominate the race which takes place in conjunction with the Portland All-British-Field-Meet each year. Great fun was had by all. Here's a picture of Dave Phillips (Red57) and Doug Escriva (Dougie)
on the starting grid.

Yaaayyy!

To quote Denis Welch; "I like looking at Ferrari 250 SWBs as much as anyone, especially in the rear-view mirror!"

Got more pictures?

They'll be more action shots to follow. Here a short video my wife shot from her I-phone after I made my pass on the Ferrari.......She's a little excited.
