A good friend just moved to the Manchester, UK area and is looking for someone to service his BJ8. The car is already fully sorted but he is not mechanically inclined and needs someone to look after the mechanical needs when something arises as he will drive the car frequently. Any recommendations for a knowledgeable Healey guy around the area?

Merlin Classic Cars about 10K South South East from Manchester, their website looks fresh so tell your friend to look them up - They restore and will service, I can't say that I have heard of them before but their web site certainly looks the part.

Has anyone actually done business with Merlin Classics? We went by there over the recent bank holiday just to take a peek and it was a tiny shop without any signs. We had a tough time even identifying it next to the other shops and generic cars in the yard. I know you can't always judge a book by its cover but any real experience with them would be appreciated.
