Hey team,

Any of the rest of ya-all going to the Healey Ron-Day-Voo in Richland, Washington, July 16-20? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

I'll be there in my blue and white 100, along with my Healey boat. We're raffling off boat rides. Plus, anyone driving a Healey more than 500 miles to be there automatically gets a boat ride. Be sure to ask about our special on Marriages at Sea. (Gender identity test results must be provided in advance.) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif

Admiral,
Healey Sportsboat Association

Sherry and I will be there from North Dallas, TX.

Alas, we are not driving or even trailering our V8 Healey, but will be appearing
in our special "LIMITED EDITION" Miata-Healey that we drag behind the RV.

Tim,

Your RV-Miata combo looks like a very nice way to travel. Plus, you can still buy boat ride raffle tickets.

I see that the weather forecast calls for highs in the mid-80s, and lows around 60 degrees, so the weather is apparently going to be PERFECT, with or without a Healey.

I'm entering my 100 -- that I'm driving to the meet -- in the Forest Grove Concours the day before, Sunday the 15th, and it will be interesting to see what they do with a car with no bumpers, no top, and no side curtails. Do they consider them a total deduction since they are not present, or no deduction since they are faultless in their absence? Either way, I still get dinner afterwards!

See you in Richland!

Are you going to tow the boat with blue & white?

No, I have a Jeep Cherokee for towing duties. That said, I'll bet that the 100 could tow that light boat and trailer without a problem, at least if you avoided steep grades. And it would make a neat picture! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Reid,
That reminds me, I think Coastalman has a Healey trailer hitch for sale. Just the thing you need to tow a Healey boat behind a Healey car ! PM him for details if interested.
