Was doing a web search on the words, "Healey Fiesta" and this site came up. Can anyone bring me up to speed on what has been mentioned about the Healey Fiesta?

Hmmm...

There was a thread some time ago regarding Healey Fiesta's, tried search function and couldn't come up with it, time for a new thread? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

By the way, I see you own a 1978 Healey Fiesta according to your profile, I thought that was only a prototype, was there more than one made? I'd love to know, I'm sure we'd all love to know /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for the reply. I do own the Healey Fiesta and only one was made. It started life out as a 1978 Ford Fiesta that was sent to the Donald Healey Motor Co. for their modifications. They then sent it back to Ford here in the states with a Healey VIN and Healey Badges, where it was displayed at I believe four Auto Shows in 1979. While it was at the Los Angeles show, Road and Track picked it up for a weekend and did an article on the car. They also put it on their cover and called it the "Healey Fiesta". The following link is the Road & Track article:

Had to do the trailer thing because of SMOG Regulations here in California. I recently was able to get the car licensed as a Historical Vehicle. YEA!!!!

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif OH MY GOSH YES! Healy Fiesta,. I forgot its one of those moderene things huh. Welcome to the Forum-Regards---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

One of my racing buddies raced a regular Ford Fiesta for many years (between accidents it was actually three different cars!). I drove it once and did lots of work on it. Originally, it was an SCCA ITC car. Later a GT4 car (with dual Webers). Everyone likes the little Kent pushrod motor, but I always thought that a modern Ford Zetek engine would make one of these lightweights a real rocket.
Anyway, welcome!
