Healey Club of Arizona?

Does anyone know if there is a Healey Club of Arizona? I am moving out to Scottsdale in June and was hoping there would be a club out there. I checked the AHCA and there was no listing for Arizona. Also, if anyone knows of a good Healey mechanic in the Phoenix area I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Brandon

Hi Brandon,It seems that the bulk of Healey owners in Arizona belong to the National AHCA Membership. The Healey is well represented in the state though. They probably do have a local club that just is not directly associated with AHCA as yet.---Keoke

Hi Brandon,
I live in Phoenix and asked the same thing over a year ago. There is no Healey club I know of in Phoenix but there is a British Motors Enthusiasts club in Phoenix and another British Car club in Tucson. The BME club in Phoenix just had a car show last month at Heritage Square. I enter ed my 100-6 but broke down on the way and missed the gate closing time. I went to look anyway. There were only 3 Healeys but quite a few others: Triumphs, Jags, MGs, etc. It would be great to start up a club in Phoenix if there was enough interest. I will forward you a event email from the BME. I don't know of a good Healey mechanic since I have done all my own work. Maybe that's why I broke down. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I still need to add a post on the symptoms since I have been driving the car since and can't figure out what happened that day.
Regards,
Chuck

Hi Chuck ,My AHCA list shows 32 healey owners in the state most of which are in the southern part, but only two owners show up in the Phoenix area and I have not checked the USA Club list they are there though.---Keoke

Hey Chuck, thanks for the response and email. I'll send you a private email to discuss things further.

If any other AZ Healey's are interested in getting an AH Club of AZ going, it would be great if you could post here.
