Hi all.
I'm a new member and glad to be here. I am about to finish a ground up on an early 100-4 BN-1 (C.149998 Dec. 1953).
I have just pulled apart the insides of the control head assembly for the trafficator, and like everything one does for the first time, forgot to remember..... that there are many springs involved. Consequently, it exploded and stuff went everywhere.
I seem to have recovered the pieces, parts, except for the small "A" piece just below the two return spring-levers (as shown in the diagram), which are below the lever mechanism (I'm not sure it was ever there).
I have a good idea where everything goes, but pictures, reassembly advice and/or a more definitive diagram, other than the ones in the Moss catalogue would be extremely helpful. For your information the one that I have is # 40 in Moss's catalouge (the diagram on the bottom).
I was wondering if anyone else had rebuilt one of these, and had some reassembly advice for this guy who should have known better than to start a project late at night when he was tired.
Thanks for your help.
Dr Bob
ps. I was already sent to my room for an hour as punishment for not thinking this through first.
