yeah, I thought I saw mention of this in the past but my use of the "search" function has produced nothing for me. I've noticed my right headlight is aimed at in-coming aircraft. I went to adjust it the other day, but for the life of me I could not figure out how to remove the trim ring without damaging the ring or the car. How does this ring come off?

I'd normally consult my manual, but I seem to have misplaced it when I moved... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Good luck, I sweat bullets every time I have to pull those things off. I have a brand new factory set of rings in the box, but I'm too afraid to put them on the car in fear I'll bend them during removal later.

I usually get a broad flathead screwdriver in there to pry the bottom out gently as I push down hard on the top of the ring.

eh.... is that why there's a spot on my front fender under the headlight where the cheap paint job has been rubbed off? oy, that reminds me, i think my car was an accident victim under one of it's previous owners.

Press down on the top of the ring and use the hand tool used to remove vinyl siding to pull out the bottom of the ring. Available at most hardware stores.
