Headlight adjustment screw kit

Hello,
I'm hopeing someone can help me.
I have a 1960 Tr3A with the original healight buckets.
The headlight adjustment screws were hopelessly rusted.

I ordered the Lucas Headlight Adjustment Screw Kit (0-695)
The headlight bucket has captive nuts. The replacement kit has some plastic nuts. I removed the captive nuts, but the hole is too small to pop the plastic nut into.

My problem is, I can't figure out how to get the plastic nut into the original opening. It doesn't appear to work with this headlight bucket.

I can't find any instructions anywhere on the internet.
I'm wondering if I need a different replacement kit or is there something I'm missing to get this kit to work.

Lastly, I'm assuming that once you get the plastic nut installed, the screw selftaps into the plastic nut.

Thanks in advance or any help.

Ron
