Headlamp switch question

My MKIII Midget headlamp switch (with the green, illuminated top piece) is knackered and I need to replace it.

Couple of questions:

1) How do you remove it? Just push out from behind?

2) Is the MOSS replacement illuminated/green? The Fall/Winter Moss catalog (page 75, #61) doesn't seem to be the illuminated kind. Does anyone know?

Thanks, guys!

My 76' 1500 headlamp switch had a plastic cage around it that was holding the bulb. After releasing that the switch pretty much just pushed out. The new one I got from Moss was illuminated because I put the cage with the bulb back onto it. There was a small space on the top of the switch to alow the light to shine into it. Best of luck!

Take a look at Gerard's Garage Website. I've got pics there that Gerard posted of the inside of a headlight switch. They are fixable just need cleaning.
