Is anybody heading to Michigan from out west? I just bought a TR and need it transported. I call the usual transporters,Uhh,"who makes Triumph?". I tell the is has low ground clearence, its a conv, narrow track. They say no problem we will put it on top of our 10 car carrier. These guys will tell you anything, what ever it takes to make the sale. I am open to suggestions.thx.

I purchased a '69 GT6+ in Wisconsin and needed it moved to Las Vegas. I tried Uship as well as getting quotes from professional transport companies. Uship was of no help at all. The few responses I got were significantly more than a professional mover.

I decided on a company called Express Auto Tranport https://www.theexpressauto.com/. Personally, I had no problems with this company. My rep was Debbie debbie@expressautotransport.com.

The driver picked my car up on time, delivered it within 30 minutes of when he said he'd be there and no damage. And, they can accomodate the smaller british cars with no trouble.

Regardless of how you go, I'd definately check out Epinion.com https://www.epinions.com/Moving_Companies--reviews--15580_auto to make an informed decision.

Be aware, with the price of fuel nowadays, it cost me $1,100.00 to move my GT6 1,700 miles.

Hope this helps. Best of luck

Try TFX international.....They are based in toronto so pass through Michigan alot....I use them all the time, very good never had any problems....They even transported all the Ferraris here for the autoshow!....google TFX international to get a #....Ask for Jackie, tell her Ron Zeraldo sent you.

Is the TR able to be driven to Mich? I opted to drive the TR6 from Seattle to Huntsville AL. It was a great trip and didn't cost anywhere near the $2000+ transport companies were asking.

hum, didn't know that....I'll keep that in mind
