Hope to install mine in the next day or so - do I put anything on the gasket?
 
No, I would not.

Re-tighten after a few hours of running.
 
Make sure that header is *absolutely* flat before installing it. I'm dealing with leaks with my header right now, almost certainly caused by something not quite true on the surface of the header. Pesky.
