I bought a set of headers on ebay for my 1977. They don't seem to fit down next to the motor. I tried sliding them up from the bottom but still no luck. Do I have to move the engine over to fit them in? Thannks, Jerry
 
take the steering rack off, only 4 bolts..but I bet you're motor mounts are shot and the motor is sitting about 1 1/2" too low. Had this problem taking the header off my parts car
