T-Series Head Light Switch

Switch went out, just wiggles around. What stop gap measure can I use to get the lights back on line until I can get Tony to send me a new one. I finally have time to work on the GT instead of Isuzuz.

Whooo.....don't know a trick for that one...I'll look to see if I have a good used one tomorrow.
 
All the switch does is connect the incoming power, brown wire, to the lights, red/green and blue wires. All you need to do is find a way to connect these three or four wires together when you want the lights on.

Jumping the red/green to the brown wires on the fuse box will turn on the parking lights.

If the snap sleeve connectors for the brown and blue wires are easily accessible under the dash, you can just connect the blue and brown wire together to turn on the headlights.

Just remember to unplug the lights when you park and make sure the brown wire doesn't ground since it is not fused.
 
Went and bought a STDP toggle switch at the local hardware store. put the wires on the switch and I now have head lights. The original switch fell apart. I wanted to see if I could rebuild it but I put one of the pieces in a "safe" place and 10 minutes later could not find it. Tony--I will PM you a note to get a replacement.

I'll look tomorrow to see if I have a good used one...if not, we can get it new

I've got quite a list of used parts to pull tomorrow.
