Can some body please tell me why it cost's $189 for a rocker switch? And is there a place that can repair one?

Think he is talking about the 4 pronged switch.
They are made with unobtainium.
You can use a 6 prong.
Takes a little whittling on the dash though

And you can repair it.Not to hard

The outside is in good shape. It is missing the copper contact's, I think they went flying when the buffing wheel yanked it out of my hand.

I have lost quite a few parts on the buffing wheel. Tried to save a headlight ring by buffing. Threw it into the wall and it ended up with more dents than I could get out.

Dan, do you still have the little bar bell slide and the top?? If you have to use a 72 switch, it's larger by a small bit and has different size slide on connector, (smaller). I may have the bottom part somewhere if it gets down to that, can't be sure I can find it.

I did the same thing The wall is harder than the stuff we are buffing.
Wayne I do still have the barbell part. I think I can find a cheaper 72 switch on e-bay. I guess I can figure out how to make it work.

Thanks Marv!
I do have extra headlight switches. Just take them apart and the contact's should be the same? or close enough.......
