Wedge Hazard siginals don't work!!

Imagine that! Every TR7 I test drove the hazard signals did not work. There must be some common problem for this to happen and while I have half my dash apart to fix the heater control valve I should tackle this too. Fuses are good and that's all I checked. Going to take out the switch some time today and clean and test it.

Also while that panel is apart the Fog Light switch seems to operate nothing but has a lot of wires going to it. Mine is a convertible so no rear defroster as I've told it operates.

Don't forget to check the flasher relay as well.

There are TWO flasher relays. One under the dash for the turn signals and one at the fuse box to control the E. Flashers. The wiring for the fog lights are there, Red/Yellow wires goes to the front fog lights and the Red/Blue goes to the rear fog lights. Check passenger side front bulkhead where the lighting harness goes through and under the front bumper. Pull up the rear trunk lining on the passenger side to find the ribbon cable and trace the wires for the rear fog lights.

My wedge hazards also do not work. I have narrowed the problem down to the panel switch but cannot disconnect the harness plug from the switch. I can squeeze the top and bottom plug tabs to release the plug, but the plug itself refuses to budge from the switch. I tried the headlight and foglight switches as well, but they too refuse to budge. Are my fingers simply not strong enough to pull them apart or am I missing something?
