What did you all use when you sealed up this Gold transmision> It's good stuff. Haveing a heck of a prob with the detent slugs and shift rods but boy oh boy does this look fine gear wise. Appreciate.
 
When my students were taking it apart I looked at it and told them to just put the side cover and tail shaft back on. I did not want them to practice on what looked like a fresh gold seal box. My guess is the sealer was brush-on permatex. Students can get pretty sloppy with the stuff.
 
It really really is good stuff. I wanted to make sure I used the same.

Now if I can get these shift shafts and detents freed up I'm good to go.
