Have You Ever Thought About.....

...all of the stuff that you've collected
in your lifetime - & what your kid's thought would
be as they're sorting through it all?
I thought about this as I was in the garage
tonight,as my Dad passed away a few years ago,& I
had to deal with things that he'd collected over the
years.
I have a feeling that my kids will look at my
collection,& think "why did he keep this?",& probably
toss a lot of it out.
I had a thought - I should have at least one of my
kids go through my stuff,& let me explain why I kept
what I did,& why it's important to me.
Also,we sould have some kind of will,so the cars
& stuff would go to the right people, rather than being
sold off (possibly for pennies on the dollar).
- There I go trying to think again.

Doug, I think your absolutely right! I know EVERYBODY should have a will, if for no other reason than to keep the state from grabbing everything they can. But, most important, to make sure what you leave behind is distributed the way you want and to whom you want it to go to.
