Has anyone ever requested a Heritage Certificate?

Lots of us do, intresting info on the orgins of you LBC. Kinda rounds out the early years.

When I bought ncbugeye the one thing the PO kept was the heritage certificate.

Go figure.

p.s. When I was working (for IBM) at BL Cowley I used to live about 2 miles away from what is now the Heritage Center. It used to be called RAF Gaydon and housed Britain's nuclear deterrent in the form of the Vulcan strategic bombers.

I've requested two, one for the TR4 I have now sold, and one for the Tunebug. I felt it was worth the roughly $50, since it is the only way to figure out what the car was equipped with originally. It gives you color, engine and maybe other numbers, usually date of manufacture, and any options. Kind of a neat birth certificate for the car.

Odd that the PO kept the one for your car. The one I bought for the TR4 went with it.
