Hardtop

Hello,

I recently inherited a black hardtop for a Sunbeam Tiger, so I am told. I know nothing about it. I was told there were two types and early and a late. How can I tell the difference? What is its approximate value and is anyone interested in it? You may contact me off line if interested dmcgarry@cox.net, also I can supply pictures if needed.

Thanks,

There are indeed 2 different types. The Alpine 1 and 2 had the first type, the Alpine 3 through 5 and Tiger had the 2nd. If it's aluminium, has no quarter windows and the door window opening rear edge points forward, it's an early one. If it's steel, has separate quarter windows and the door window opening is basically square, it's a later one.
