Hardtop window installation?

Experience or opinion's please.
Should I install the 1/4 windows and the rear window into the hardtop on or off the car.
I am thinking off the car may give more access, but less stability to pull against.
On the car it will be bolted down, but less accessible.
Thoughts?

I did my glass with the top on the car, along time ago.

I rebuilt and painted my hardtop this past summer. I built a rack to hold it in the installed position so I could sand paint yadda yadda. I found it easier to install the side glass first. It was kinda tough at the back getting the seal to lay correctly, especially at the point. It still does not seem to fit as well as the original seals but they were toast. The rear window went in smooth as peanut butter. I think that seal may be a tad loose but I haven't seen any leaks yet.
