I am restoring the hardtop for my Triumph TR3A and would appreciate some input. I bought the headliner fabric from The Roadster Factory. However, my hardtop does not have the original listing rail. does anyone know what it is made of and its dimensions? Also, if anyone has photos of the finished headliner/gasket installation/rails and any other details that may assist me in reinstalling my complete hardtop restoration I could sure use the help.

The early tops did not have the listing rail, not sure when they came along. Are your drip channels aluminum or Chrome plated steel. The early tops had them made out of steel. I've not put my top together so I can't help there, I will follow along with this thread. Sometimes if you look on Ebay you can find a top that still has some of the material left and you can get ideas from there.

I too have my hardtop all disassembled and just about ready to put back together. I have the aluminum drip channels. I purchased wool material for the headliner to match my interior. A number of years ago, I looked at a completed hardtop at a car show. Now I wish I would have taken pictures. I'm not quite sure of how to butt up the material to the gaskets.

Here are a couple pics from an original, unmolested top. HTH!

Thanks for the pics. I need as many pics as I can get my eyes on before starting the project. I don't want to begin work with the fabric before I know how to install it.
