If you've got the image on a webhosting site (I would suggest photobucket.com) it should have hotlinks, but you can do it manually by typing in the following, ***changing the brackets to square brackets***
Well, here's the URL of the photo: https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcforum/u...me/IMG_0745.JPG but its not there.....I'd try downsizing it a bit & make sure when you tell it to add the photo to the file that its really there - you can't preview it though.
Could we see a close up of that top right where it meets the rear edge of the door? I think its a hardtop for a different Mk Spridget but can't tell from that photo...
Yep, thanks, that's it....good looking factory hardtop but its not the correct one for that model car......see where it's notched at the bottom edge? On your car, it should be straight....you may get some water intrusion at speed using that top on your car.
Here's the hardtop for your car - see the front edge where it would meet the door? It's straight, not notched like yours:
The NOTCH clears the chrome piece that is the corner of the cockpit. If the top were straight it would NOT fit my car. That's part of the problem with finding a top for a MK III Sprite. They were only made for two years. this one fits like a a glove, except that because the windscreen is not square to the body, the top fits more to the driver's side than the passenger's. The only way to ever tell that it isn't straight is to install a HARDTOP!
