Hard top acquisition

the two seater hardtop on ebay went for 2395 plus it was local pickup. it was missing some parts and would need a total rebuild. i was thinking of bidding, but no where close to that price. i know new ones are expensive but this seemed to be rather pricey considering condition. any comments from the forum regarding the ebay sale price?

Max,

The 2-seater hardtops that I've seen run full course on EBay have sold for $1400 up to $5300. I've seen several that obviously someone made them an offer that was accepted, and the eBay listing was pulled. The $1400 EBay sale in 2012 was pickup only and needed some work, although not as much as the as the one that just sold. The $5300 was restored nicely, but still not perfect.

You should probably sell it to me. I live in the Northwest where hardtops are necessary.

Hardtops are good for the Northwest's rain, as well as the the summer heat on the track.....
