Hard to reach bolts

Thought I would share this with you guys. While putting a new fifth wheel in the truck I ran into a couple of bolts that I needed to get flat washer, lock washer and nut. The only way (other than disassemblying the under carrage) was to use a long reach needle nose plyers and have someone turn the bolt from above. After the two washers fell off for the umteen time I got a flash. I ran in and got the hot glue gun (from 4H craft times) and glued the two washers to the nut. They went on slick as can be. I will be using this when I have to put a nut and washers on when I can only get one hand in the space. Just though someone could use the idea.

slick idea! I bet RTV would work just as well in a pinch too! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Nice....I'll keep that in mind. Sometimes I think things where designed to make it as had as possible to reach any bolts....Especially triumphs!
