 Just had to share a/k/a brag. Major show today, invited by committee choice/Concours du Soleil. There were several categories, Classic American, Garage, Muscle, Italian and British. Only 1st place winners got trophies. My reaction when they called my name was "Holy Crap." Not particularly polite but I was shocked. Husband not particularly thrilled with my reaction. Considering the type of show I think I might have caused him a "Now why did she say that?" moment.

In spite of my 'photo' I was more than pleased.

It would appear that crap has been liberated. I know of a few pastors who say it from the pulpit regularly, so I think you're o.k saying it at a car show. It was, after all, an honest reaction. You could have said MUCH worse ( and sometimes I do myself.) Words and folks perception of them is a really funny thing. I have been tempted to open an honest and respectful dialog on the origins and popular acceptance of different words.

Seems you can say "shat" all day long but throw in an i, and you got problems.

Who decides this stuff anyway ?!?!?!?!

Is there a yearly meeting ?!?!?!?!

CRAP, I must not be invited.

way to go!!! Gonna have to start calling her "Lady Agatha"
Glad you had fun.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations, Agatha certainly deserves the award.

Thanks for the attaboys guys. I honestly didn't expect this as they were some really nice British cars there. It was the Concours du Soleil, an invitational show. I couldn't believe the cars there. There were at least 30 Lamborghenini and Ferraris there (Italian Category), American Classic, American Muscle, British and Garage - those really special vehicles that were viewed in a garage that makes most high dollar homes look shabby. Black granite garage floors. Need I say more? All in all one of the grandest shows I've been to. Open to public on Sunday only at $10.00 a head. Okay because the money goes to various charities and a self-sustaining fund.
