Great to be alive! Happy Weekend Everyone. Amos is finally out
of summer hot storage and chomping to drive the twisty
mountain roads.

Yes it is on the cool side here on the island at 72* but I
gritted my teeth and took Amos, my old bucket of bolts,'69
Triumph TR6 out for a few laps today.

Wow! Engine felt real strong with new valve rocker assembly,
new thrust washers and total tune up and balancing.
I love the sound of the twin exhaust pipes. Life is good.

Wishing everyone well,

d

Summer storage??? Dale, with sunscreen, a mister fan, and a nice cold "bebida", you should be out there all year long!
In all seriousness though, great photo, and glad you are able to enjoy the fruits of your labors and get out in your beautiful car on your beautiful island!

Yeah - where the white stuff on the ground is sand. Happy driving!

Dale, you look like a happy man and I'm happy for you, just wish I were there or at least where it's warn. Our best in a week is today and it's 42 F or 6 C, can't even take out the new Jag with salt all over the place.

Have fun!!!!

Summer hot storage!
Summer hot storage!
Summer hot storage!
Is that when the temperature is above 125 degrees?

I think it really means broken things fixed.

Thanks, Tinster for the reminder of warmer times and places! Although it's clear and sunny here, the ice crackles underfoot when you go outside -- supposed to be in the 20's tonight. Pictures like the one you posted offer strength to those of us who have four or more months to go before LBC driving season starts again -- keep 'em coming!

Nope skinned - our seasons are reversed. DPO Pedro tore out the entire ventilation system. When the air is 110+ degress and the black aswphalt roads are 170* ......I drive my A/c Jeep.

In winter I drive mt SiX.
