I love it!!
only suggestion is a third brake lamp on the luggage rack (LED) as an ounce of prevention.
I used to do this on all the 6's we repaired in my shop.

I couldn’t agree more!
Here’s the one I built. It’s easily removable.

mctriumph Gliderman8 We got that covered been sportin' 12" led 3rd brake light since '96 replacing small brake light attached to bottom of rollbar in the early 80s

12" led 3rd brake light
I made mine from an LED strip that came off of a police motorcycle made by Whelen. It’s configured to flash continuously as long as you’re stepping on the brake.

Like the continuous flash idea, currently pump my brakes to alert traffic until rear car is stopped, any 3rd brake light mounted above boot lid level to compensate for the small diameter OEM TR6 lights is a modern day neccessity for LBCs
Here's a video of the light... white light on trunk is reflection of ceiling light and the annoying sound is the door open alarm.

Yes, but Speedway sells a billet housed lamp that( with a little work) can be mounted to the rack
and the wire threaded through the tubing. I have done 5 or six for area 4's /6's .
Sadly there is an entire generation that won;t see any lamp NOT high and center if they even looking at all.
I have fixed a lot of rear ended LBC's in the last 20yrs. Makes my neck hurt just to think about it.....

Although I do have a luggage rack I’ve elected not to install it. My light is quickly removable. Open trunk, loosen the two locking knobs, and unplug the power wire.
This makes it convenient when I take my car to a show.

Anything to keep tailgaters out of the boot!!
Bear in mind that good clean safety mods are OK in concourse showings. The VTR wants to see the cars used in safety.
It should not be necessary to remove this cleanly done upgrade(IMHO).
