May it be a day of rest and joy and family and friends.

Thanks, JP! Mitsy just went off to attend the parade here. We used to march in it as part of The Red, White and Blue Kazoo Review, drill team style. Haven't done so in a few years but we DID win the "Best Band" award for several years. Forty-strong ol' farts blowin' kazoos to the tunes "Grand old Flag" and "Yankee Doodle", doing a version of "Macarena"including Rockette-style high kicks in front of the reviewing stand... the 2.5 mile route in mid summer Florida kinda got to be too much for most of 'em. We were popular enough to have been on the local TV stations and always got the crowd along the way up on their feet, cheering.

Sounds like fun, though a sentence like this makes me wonder which end the kazoo was inserted in? .... Forty, strong old farts that is....

I think a TMI moment is upon us...

Having the whole family over for burgers and beans and all the rest.
