The hands up with five spread fingers is my "Hi" wave.
I was able to purchase "Bettie" for $3,800 in 1999.
Was able to start her up and drive her until 2004 when I lost my job and the restoration funds dried up. When I became employed again it was with less income and the income was needed to pay off the accumulated debts. Then when the economy tanked in 2008, the company I was working for, laid off 90% of their employees.
Self employment kept me above water for several years until medical problems occurred. Had to sell my house and move into a much smaller space. But the sale has provided me with a small sum that I plan to use for restoration work.
Currently looking for someone that would be able to help with the needed body work.

Speaking of birthdays, it was in May 1958 that I bought my first car. A TR3A (brand new) and it now is nearly 60 years old with 194,000 miles on the speedometer. I paid cash for it ($2616.00) with my savings from working from age 17 to 20 at Pratt & Whitney.
And I'm still 20 years old !
