Well I just took my engine up to hap in greenville today. Really impressive to get to see where our cars can be made even more fun! He gave me an excellent two hours of education on these great little engines. Thanks Hap

It's great to have people on the forum who are real experts at what they do, and have seen literally everything there is to see. I, at least, appreciate it immensely.

You've made a good choice -- you'll be very happy with your engine once Hap's done his work. I'm certainly pleased with mine, and it hasn't even run yet.

Hap had an engine building tech session a couple of weekends ago. I got there just after he timed the cam, but the session was very helpful. I have a new respect for the A series engine after rebuilding two Spitfire engines and a TR3.

X2 on the helpful tech session! I was very interested in the cam timing and some other procedures and thankfully I was there
early enough to watch a Pro do his thing. Hap's got it down pat
as they say.

Thanks, for the kind words guys. Matt it was nice to meet you in person. kinda funny how things work out, the only 948 engines I rebuilt since Acme was open in 2001, was a few 948 SCCA race engines, but those have kinda dried up now that they allow the 1275 engines in those cars, needless to say no one has called me about 948 street engine, and now I have two 948 street engines to build, everything run in streaks I guess
