Gear oil seems to melt some of the pump bits over time. Not sure if that'll happen with a Plews one, tho.
Some years ago, Horsemits "observed" me struggling with a leaky one and mumblin' profane words... she went into the hovel and came out with a one-quart "zippy bag" and proceeded to hack up a quart gear oil bottle: removed the "spout" cap, cut off the threaded neck about half an inch below the threads, open'd the baggie and inserted the "neck" into a corner of the bag. Screw'd on the "spout" from the outside and poked a hole in the corner of the baggie... Handed it to me and said:" Think: cake decorating!"
Disposable squeezy-thingie you can fill with about any fluid and maul into position to empty into otherwise inaccessible places.
Ten cent bag and a nozzle FREE with every bottle of gear lube.
Th' lass is brilliant. NO clue why she decided to marry ME. :smirk:
