Just finished replacing all the handbrake cables on my '59 and am now trying to figure out how to adjust the brake correctly. I see the section in the manual that says to adjust to rear cables to the specific length "between centers". Can someone clarify what exactly this means? Are they talking about the the center of the clevis pins? Any other guidance on getting the cables set correctly? Thanks!

Yes, they refer to the measurement of the rear rear cables from Clevis center to Clevis center. By setting the rear cable lengths, you make sure the bellcrank is at the correct angle.
Then the front cable is adjusted at the front clevis so the rear cables just loosen all tension when the handle is full forward. The tension must fully release so the rear brakes won't drag.
