Hand held infrared thermometers

I saw the other day that at Geeks.com they have hand held thermometers on sale for $25. I bought one a few years ago, and it paid for itself many times over. If an engine runs rough, I check the exhaust manifold for cooler ports not firing properly. It also works well for the cooling system, finding hot or cold spots. Ideal for comparing dash gauge temp with the real temp.

Also good for telling if the catalyst is working.
And , if a brake is dragging the wheel gets real hot real fast.
One of the handiest tools I own

Can also use it to check relays. an energized relay will be warmer than the others.
VERY useful tool.
