TR2/3/3A hand brake sealing rubber plate

I am back to piddling with locating parts I am missing in hopes that one day I will have time to re assemble my car. I believe I am missing the plate that attaches to the transmission tunnel that holds the hand brake sealing rubber. Is this plate a single thickness plate or is it formed sheetmetal like the one that attaches to the floor pan? what is the thickness of this plate? I also would like to hear recommendations on best supplier for the hand brake sealing rubber. I want to make sure I have all my T's crossed and i's dotted before I weld in the floor pans and this includes that the hand brake functions correctly and the sealing rubber plates have the correct hardware locations on floor pan and the transmission tunnel.
Thank you in advance, Frank

Frank the U shaped upper metal on the tunnel has the same thickness as the floor piece. They are probably 18guage sheet metal with a slight turn up edge. Since TRF burned down I think Moss is the only game in town for those parts. Rimmer brothers might have them from England.

Thank you Steve and Lionel. Life seems to change your priorities, I spend my weekends checking on my aging mom, cutting her grass, helping with honey do jobs, and enjoying her great cooking. She has been my biggest supporter on the TR3 project and she knows that this is going to be a long journey for me. The weather here is bloody hot so maybe this fall I can start to put the pieces together, surely not as fast as my mom works her jig saw puzzles but a piece at the time. Take care, Frank

Hi Frank yes I took care of my dad, I understand. Are these the pieces you are talking about? I know you are fabricator, so can I send these pieces out to you for a template and you can make your own?

Thank you, Steve. i have checked with a friend and he is checking to see about sending the one he has. If he can't find it I will check back. Frank

Ok Frank sounds good. I got some pictures to post, the size was wrong. I still owe you for the last time you made me something. These are extra ones that are kinda beat up.
