Had My Friend Gordon Lewis Come Visit From Eureka

We went to the 611 Steak House Monday Night,then went & had breakfast at Ruth's Place
near Rocky Mount,& ended up their for dinner too.It's a really good place to eat with a
friendly staff.
After that,we headed to Gretna,the took highway 29 down to Danville,then on to
VIR (Virginia International Raceway)where we couldn't get in due to the fact that there
was a track day going on.

Man, that NA is slick. I prefer the stock wheels, but that's just a personal preference.

It makes me realize just how much I need to get mine painted sometime soon.

Believe it or not,that's a Maaco paint job,
done by a previous owner.

While we were at VIR,we stopped by Radical Virginia.The owner invited us
to look inside the shop.There were some pretty cool race cars,although I didn't
get to test drive any of them.Had a nice visit with the owner.

Radical do some amazing cars. Many use the Suzuki hyabusa bike engines.
Then they Frankenstein’d the engine into an incredible V8 !

They had a couple of Hyabusa engines in the shop also.

On the way back,we stopped in Danville,VA. & visited Partee Racing LLC,
a shop that specializes in BMWs & makes some better than OEM parts,
& has a full machine shop,engine dyno,chassis dyno,& an engine assembly
room.That converted large propane tank is for carbon fiber parts.
Chris was very nice,& gave us a tour of the place & let us take pictures.
This is the same building that Tivvy Shelton & dale had their shop & machine
shop in.Tivvy had an original Alan Mann Escort.WAY COOL car.
