with Miss Agatha this morning while I was fitting her seat frames. Told her no seats till everything else was sorted out. Like:

Carbs, might be back when I return, I hope. Also hope that solves the prob.

Change out tac, this one seems to stick now. Maybe I put the wrong one in, shrug.

Fuel gage only reads 1/8 and I know there is three gal in there. Think it may be the guage, we will see.

Front brakes will not adjust out far enough, the rears were too tight, had to turn them a bit if you remember. Darn cheep parts. May try another set of fronts from somewhere else. They are new drums even. Hate to shim the adjusters as shims would neen to be welded on.

Not sure about generator, it seems to be working but. Need to spend some time with a volt meter when I get engine running correctly.

Other stuff: Steering wheel and shift knob, Seats, assemble and install bonnet send grill and rear bumpers off to chrome.

I know, Frank would do it all tonite. Still on my time line of haveing it a driver by spring.

Miss Agatha says she can wait, she has waited so long already. Years and years in fact, had even given up hope of ever hitting the road again and she is mine, all mine. I think Mar will be a registeration month, Apr for sure.

Off to Lake of the Ozarks in the morning, back about the 23rd. We will try to pick a super place for the 2008 get together.

Have a good vacation Jack and I am sure Miss Agatha will eagerly await your return.
Hope you left something with her to keep her company even if it is just the radio turned on

Travel safe, Jack. You'll have a pretty lady waiting for you when you get home. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Have a good trip, Jack. Scope it out well and give us a full report when you get back!! Vaya condidos!

If the weather was nicer and I lived a little closer, me an' Jewel would pay Miss Agatha a visit. Ya know, keep her company while you're gone. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

You don't supose Miss Agatha would run off with just anyone.

She and I have an understanding, she only gets the best and will be treated right like a lady should.

I just can't stay away from her, changed out the Tac tonite.

Is in MO.

Stay WARM when you're "up there"!

LAYER up!

Jack, be careful! Jewel is Camshafts' nickname for his trailer!!
Travel safe, my friend.
Jeff

Don't worry, Jewel is my Midget. I prefer to name my cars with names that end in vowel sounds, but her previous caretaker had been calling her Jewel all of her life. She won't answer to anything else, but I'm warming up to the name. Gotta warm up to something in this weather.

Good luck and be safe my friend.

Place the answering machine in the garage, so that you can call and talk with Agatha /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
