Guess What I Saw Today

My brother and I like to go to the London, Ky. stockyard on Tuesdays to check out the gun trading that goes on there. When we pulled onto the grounds, low and behold the first thing I spot in the parking lot is an Arkley SS.

I immediately set out to find its owner. Someone finally pointed him out to me and introduced myself. The man was floored when I asked him about his car. He said I was the only guy he ever met who knew what it was. Turns out he actually owns two of the Arkley's. I invited him to join the BCF and he said he would check it out.

Of all the days not to have a camera with me.........

I'd agree... about the lack of camera. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

I'd always thought them a curious little car... kind of a "poor man's Seven". SOmething akin to the Pinto chassis'd "retro" bodies... Now I wish I HAD one.

Oh m'gawd,,, I'm startin' to sound like Kenny!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just as I remembered 'em. Too much Spridget showing.

But still an interesting spinoff.

Crimmies, it's a spridget.

But... my daughter says "Aw, its cute...."

On some of the Arkley conversions, they cut the doors down to make them look like a midget Morgan. I think they look better than the straight doors.
